Job Description - Responsible for Enterprise Monitoring, which includes leading in the design, configuration, development, integration, testing, implementation, documentation, and support of monitoring infrastructure environments. - Will contribute to the monitoring configuration and maintenance utilizing various tools, including Datadog, HP Operations Manager (OpenView), BSM, SolarWinds, BPM. - The Monitoring Architect will be responsible for the monitoring of applications, and infrastructure in the cloud (AWS), and/or on premise, ensuring high quality, and timely alerts, and notifications. - Play a lead role in implementing, and supporting, a long term, global, monitoring strategy which may employ new, and currently owned monitoring products and/or support structure. - Must be a creative thinker who can develop cost effective monitoring solutions and develop solid processes in order to avoid service interruptions and reduce MTTR. - Must be a self-starter who will interact with different groups at all levels with minimum supervision. Job Skills/Experience • 7+ years professional experience required in an IT environment • 3+ years experience with business requirements gathering/analysis • Experience participating in large, global, multi-tool, multi-platform enterprise monitoring implementations/integration projects • 1+ years experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, preferred) • Strong communication skills required • Maintain several complex projects simultaneously Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload Must have experience working with the following: • Datadog • HP Operations Manager (OpenView) • Business Service Management (BSM) • Business Process Monitor (BPM) • SiteScope • Amazon CloudWatch • SolarWinds 1 of the following scripting languages:Shell Scripts, Perl, Python, PowerShell Ideally have experience working with any of the following products: • Scripting with Virtual User Generator (VuGen) • AppDynamics, Dynatrace • Zenoss, Datadog • Nagios, NetIQ, Tivoli, CA UniCenter or other monitoring products • EMC ECC, Oracle OEM • Splunk, ArcSight Job Knowledge • Experience in gathering, and understanding requests from business partners, and providing solutions • Expertise in monitoring, identifying, and analyzing issues • Exposure to working in UNIX, Windows, and Linux environments • Experience of eCommerce, Middleware and/or ERP applications would be advantageous   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
