Participate in all phases of the software development cycle. The incumbent is responsible for software engineering for new and existing products and works with the entire SOA Center Team to ensure development conforms to performance optimization and interoperability standards and requirements. Required Skills: • 5 years of experience in developing SOA-based enterprise solutions using: BizTalk, C#/ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, • 5 years of experience in developing XML Schemas and Namespaces • Extensive knowledge and fluent in developing WCF (WSI-compliant) Web Services • Experience in developing BizTalk Orchestrations and Itineraries • Experience in developing business rules and invocation of business rules from web services • Strong knowledge and understanding of web services design and development patterns • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server 2008, 2012) and data extraction tools (PL/SQL) • Understanding of and some experience with SQL Server SSIS, MDS, DQS • Understanding of data modeling and entity relationship models • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs • Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the software engineering teams knowledge of and concern for customers business needs • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Object Oriented Design (OOD), Application Testing, User Interface Testing, Enterprise level SOA based programming experience. • Experience with Powershell preferred but not mandatory.
