Contractor works as part of a team of Business Analysts responsible for ensuring that service goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time parameters, budget, for the PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 application. Working as part of a production support team, this person provides end user support, documents, tests, and debugs PeopleSoft, as needed. Functional/Technical skills: 10+ years of PeopleSoft Financials functional/technical consulting experience. In depth understanding of core business processes of Financials modules is essential. Functional understanding of key processes in General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Expenses, and Asset Management modules is desirable. Ability/Experience interacting with accountants and accounting managers to resolve business process issues and process improvements related to the General Ledger. Supports all applicable modules including troubleshooting error messages and performing testing based on existing test scripts. Collaborate with the support team (Business Analysts, testers, developers and administrators). PeopleSoft 9.2 experience. Proficiency in Oracle 12c or higher is required. Proficient with Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools, such as, PeopleCode, Component Interface & Integration Broker, BI Publisher, etc. Assist support team on functional testing, unit testing, system testing and end user acceptance testing. BS or MS in Computer Science preferred. Soft Skills Strong problem solving experience. Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conducting presentations and advising support team on application issues. Assist in planning production roll-out and deployment related activities. Create and maintain documentation and standards. Create and maintain thorough and complete documentation of all ERP PeopleSoft customizations and application releases. The project will require time on-site at the Athens GA project location.
