Project examples. Active Directory Upgrade, Enterprise Virtual Desktop Image (VDI), ICD-10, Technology Currency Program (consists of 40 plus potential projects to bring EOL hardware & software projects current) There will be heavy analysis to help size and scope infra projects such as SQL2000 migration of 30 plus standalone databases into a SQL2008 farm. Need to work with app owners to identify any script or code changes necessary for apps, how to logically group various apps into smaller manageable projects versus migrating 30 plus at one time. Basically a very well rounded SA with infrastructure background and Health Care experience and possesses strong BA skills. Responsibilities : * Demonstrates deep knowledge of the Client SDLC and champions this common approach and processes across the business and IT delivery teams. * Exhibits strong interpersonal relationships with; business partners, project managers, IT delivery teams, and Quality Assurance. * Serve as consultant to business domains, enterprise IT operations teams and Infrastructure & Security PMO in planning and coordinating systems analysis, design, and implementation/enhancement projects to automate processing or improve business systems. * Focuses on; developing and improving business processes, assisting in metrics development, both within the technology and business organizations. * Provides consultation to projects teams and ensures traceability of business requirements through all stages of development. * Conduct solutioning/assessment activities to define multiple small or medium sized projects/enhancements. * Ensure that the design and integration of proposed systems, software, and hardware solutions, lead to the development and growth of the organization through effective use of technology. * Identifies, proposes, and influences business solutions. Works directly with business and technology partners to understand objectives and formulate solutions (systems, processes, and procedures) to parallel and strengthen overall organizational strategies. * Contributes to business and technology strategic planning by providing objective feedback, insight, and recommendations (which may include non-technical solutions). * As needed; tracks Solution Delivery (SD) team activities and metrics. * Develops reports, analyzes metrics for trends and makes recommendations for improvement * Provides support for production issues such as monitoring production cycles, performing configuration updates, and testing production fixes * Works with outsource vendors to monitor and ensure appropriate support levels * Actively contributes to staff development and internal departmental process improvement, acting as a role model and mentor to SD Team colleagues.
