Description: As a member of the Instrumentation team, the Implementation Specialist is responsible for working in a cross-functional capacity to provide tracking requirements, technical direction, domain expertise, and feasibility analysis for digital analytics tracking. The Senior Implementation Specialist participates in all phases of new projects to aid in scoping, prioritization, and requirements definition to advocate data capture. This position is the liaison between Engineering and Analytics teams and ensures decision makers get the data they need. The function is detail-intensive, requiring the accurate capture and translation of data requirements (both tactical and analytical needs) and validation/verification of the working solution, ensuring quality and availability of data. Key Accountabilities: Own tagging stories for projects spanning across multiple domains - Proactively communicate and collaborate to analyze, define and design the technical implementation for Analytics Tags across the site Participate in cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development, including deployment and post-deployment activities. Act as liaison between the business units, engineering and reporting teams to ensure the right data is captured Provide technical expertise on analytics systems to drive towards consistency in delivery and optimized solutions Execute thorough User Acceptance Testing of analytics implementation Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Manage and keep track of all open issues and ensure issues are resolved in timely manner Provide technical guidance as needed to engineering teams Provide process optimization recommendations, as necessary Skills Summary: Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related field Masters degree in related field preferred 3-5 year experience working with web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics highly preferred) 3-5 years of business analysis experience 1+ year working experience with databases, SQL queries, SQL scripting for data validation Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation (including data mappings and business and system requirements) Strong skills in successfully communicating technical requirements to engineers Expert with negotiating priorities, scope, and resource requirements in the delivery of large complex development projects in rapidly evolving business environment Experience working on an ecommerce and/or retail site a plus Experience with Tealium Tag Manager a plus Experience with Javascript a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
