Meeting with users to define Information requirements and rules governing it. ? Completion of all detailed data and reporting requirements ? Assisting developers in data mapping and in creating data models ? Conducting System Q/A processes ? Compiling all system and technical documentation; and assistance with: ? Writing requirements ? Creation of Detailed Use Cases ? Writing test plans ? Writing and executing Test Cases ? Support the development of end-user training materials and end-user documentation ? Prepare and deliver presentations for training and as required by Project Manager ? Providing operations support ? Participating in product deployment The candidate must be able to contribute throughout the project life cycle, from planning to implementation, with emphasis on business requirements from the business community in the development and roll-out of multiple builds of the applications Responsibilities: • Works with the HIE team, participating in all phases of the project life cycle including business requirements gathering and documenting, definition, design, development, testing and deployment following the Unified Process. • Facilitates interview and group sessions to obtain business requirements for all stakeholders and gain consensus. • Gathers detailed business and technical requirements and participate in the definitions of business rules and data standards. Prepare Gap analysis document. Prepare process flow diagrams as needed. • Performs research and create deliverables as required by Project Manager. Qualifications: • Four years of experience as a business analyst during the implementation or operation of systems in the area of health and human services in a team environment • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, Superior analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks under deadline pressure • Knowledge of the Unified Process method of project implementation. • Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. • Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills; ability to work independently. Proficient in English grammar, usage, mechanics, and composition. • 3+ years experience working in a Desktop / Intranet and web environments. • Ability to effectively use MS Office tools, including Visio, Project, Word, Excel, MS Access, and PowerPoint. • Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization • Experience in SQL, Clear-Quest, Test Manager reporting tools a plus.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
