We have an 8-month project with our client in New York, NY that requires a Business Analyst, Mid-level Developing the logic tree for the self-assessment tool and translate the research done by Business PREP into other features of the online resources portal. Additionally, the BA will be responsible for writing the requirements and /or user stories, and documenting workflows, as well as wireframes, to align with implementation. Requirements and/or user stories will be clearly identifying the need and acceptance criteria so that a developer can successfully implement the project and a quality assurance analyst can fully test the implementation. The role will also involve user testing, collecting, and analyzing feedback. The analyst will later cooperate with a programmer and project team to implement the designed self-assessment tool and other features identified through the work done on the project and recommended by the Business PREP team. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Recommend technology solutions and project development based on program goals, data analysis and research Design the logic tree for the self-assessment tool and translate the research done by Business PREP into other features of the online resources Develop a prototype of the self-assessment tool and work with SBS partner organizations and business owners to test the product and collect feedback Analyze job tasks, user requirements to provide system-wide solutions Apply analytical expertise to assist in defining, analyzing, validating, and documenting operating environments and processes to meet the needs of Business PREP Work closely with the program staff, software developers, and IT professionals to implement practical solutions for the Business PREP online resources website Mandatory Qualifications: Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. 36 - 60 months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance. Preferred Qualifications: 48 months of experience providing specialized knowledge of system requirements and programming specifications 36 months of experience designing solutions based on customer needs and technical considerations 36 months of business consulting experience including the use of agile methodology 24 months of creating prototypes and wireframes to visualize the requirements 24 months of experience analyzing data, documents, user input surveys and workflow to identify courses of action 24 months of engaging tactical, strategic, and operational goals into requirements and measurable criteria based on methods such as quantitative/qualitative to ensure successful product launch 24 months of institution experience identifying ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes Bachelors Degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university 12 months of experience in computer applications development planning, design, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and security management as described in the following nine Major Task Groups in the IT Titles Task Inventory&ast: Applications Development; Web Development, Design, and Maintenance; Business/Systems Analysis; Project Management Support; Application Design; GIS Structures, Spatial Analysis, and Mapping Principles; Testing; Technical Writing; and Version Control CBAP certification Languages Must have English Native or bilingual profici   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
