Business Analyst SOP Analyst (Jobs in CLAIBORNE, LA)   Requirement id 32696 Job title Analyst Job location in CLAIBORNE, LA Skills required IT Professional, Business Analyst, SOP, Open Date 16-Jan-2015 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 9 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: IT Professional, Business Analyst, SOP, target rate $62 - location Covington, Louisiana - 9 Months Assignment - The primary purpose of the Business Analyst is to support the implementation project manager in executing the overall project plan, with a focus on the business process translation, training and documentation Job Responsibilities Support implementation of a new system, including gathering information about processes and information flows, leading the requirements elicitation and preparing future state processes Highlight and identify areas of inefficiency, redundancy and gaps Where gaps or issues are discovered in current processes, conduct thorough root cause analysis to target solutions that will resolve complex business/technical issues Conduct and document cost/benefit analyses Gather requirements for and document both As-Is and To-Be flows (some spanning multiple functional areas) to identify gaps and redundancies in order to evaluate and define new business solutions Elicit and analyze various kinds of requirements into a complete, coherent and organized document, then build consensus to validate and finalize the requirements in the business requirements document Document complex business processes using appropriate modeling techniques (workflow, business process, use case, activity diagram, etc) Serve as a liaison between the internal business community, various project teams and technical teams in order to aid the development of technical solutions which meet end user needs Drive the design, documentation and review of test cases Identify where new SOPs and training are necessary and acts as a key resource and liaison with Training dept Build, update and maintain project management documents and file archives Maintain data and file storage Provide second-level IT support for the solution post deployment Education: Bachelors degree in relevant field including Information Systems or Business Experience: Demonstrated and successful project management experience utilizing effective planning and tracking tools Detail oriented with effective organizational skills Strong communication skills including ability to communicate effectively individually and in teams (as contributor and facilitator); presentation skills, conflict resolution and written skills (emails, memos, reports etc) Demonstrated ability to analyze, organize and present data to meet internal client needs Demonstrated focus on and skills in understanding and meeting internal customer needs Demonstrated critical thinking skills Proficient in utilizing business software applications including Microsoft office suite Additional Comments: 9 Month position located in Covington, LA supporting a technology solution implementation, receiving work direction from the Implementation Project ManagerWhen a new request is posted, please let the candidates/resources know who the end client(Chevron) is so there is no possibility that the Candidate/resource is submitted by multiple vendors.
