Must have Dental Experience.
Ability to develop and execute detailed test plans, including documenting test results.
Ability to develop user documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

This position is for an experienced Business Analyst on the Denti-Cal account supporting the dental component of the California Medicaid program. The CD-MMIS consists of both batch and real-time mainframe COBOL/IDMS components and non-mainframe applications on a variety of platforms.

Responsibilities include:
Act as a liaison between client and stakeholders, using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate business processes, systems, and solution requirements to solve common and complex business issues.
Formulate and define project requirements based on user needs, knowledge of industry and information technology.
Exercise independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to research, identify and select a solution.
Effectively manages clients expectations.
Develop and execute detailed test plans, including documenting test results.
Develop user manual documentation.
Provide time / resource estimates for assigned tasks/projects.
Support requirements management and change management processes, proactively identifying and managing changes to the requirements and identifying risks.
Support various aspects of the business cycle, including assessments and implementations.

Education/experience:
3 or more years of experience in a claims processing environment.
