Candidate would be working on a technical solution in an IAM space. It involves data analysis using database/LDAP tools, test APIs using tools like SOAP UI or Postman and understanding JSON formats as thats how data is sent and received. Position Description: Technical Business Analyst with excellent BA skills and decent technical skills with the following responsibilities- • Gather and translate the business needs into detailed software requirements (Functional/Non-Functional, Integration and technical specifications). o Prepares mock-ups to provide visual aids for requirements gathering. • Perform system analysis on software programs, applications, and web services/APIs. • Assist in testing and troubleshooting of new system features during implementation, including documenting defects, errors, and solutions by doing RCA (Root Cause Analysis). • Analyzes the functional and technical impact of changes and makes sound recommendations on functional and technical improvements to the product. • Anticipates, identifies, tracks, and resolves issues, risks, action items affecting own work and work of the project team. • Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system. • Maintains a strong working knowledge of system interaction to ensure success in overall architectural solution. • Work with technical and business teams to identify, develop and implement training for new technology applications and solutions. • Perform user acceptance testing to validate that technical implementation is in parity with the system requirements. Required Skills and Experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical business analyst. • Experience as a business analyst in technology focused projects. • Hands on technical experience with database tools and structures (experience using database tools like TOAD, SQL developer and able to understand relational database structure and write simple queries) • Hands on with SQL query for data analysis. • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Identify and Access Management experience is preferred.
