Provide an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts. Understand user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Work closely with developers and engineers to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and to ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure. Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements. Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions. Provide the following functions: LINUX server administration in a VMWare virtualized environment, ability to provision VMs, Docker container orchestration, yaml scripting, prototyping, designing, developing and supporting a highly scalable release and deployment automation pipeline, webserver configuration for IIS and Apache, Certificate and Cipher suite management, Versioning and deployment WAR files and Assemblies. Harden web servers, support WIDOJ vendor applications. Analyze systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements. Works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. This position requires at least five years of experience. Service Ownership Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on the technical aspects of the application or service when asked by peers, management, or Divisional partners for information or status. Validate the application or service is available or unavailable in the event of a critical service disruption. Assist with troubleshooting the application or service upon request or when activated through the WI-DOJ Disaster Recovery or critical incident response plans. Define recommendations for application specific upgrades, releases and compliance with WI-DOJ quality standards, including security, high availability and performance Respond to the on-call phone for incidents Respond to the on-call staff Must Have Information Technology Analyze requirements, architect solutions, implement and test final technical solutions and5 years Information Technology Business Intelligence Innovative thinking to solve challenging problems 5 years Information Technology - Requirements Experience as a Technical Architect in a large, very complex organization 5 years   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
