This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues, performing needed configuration adjustments, developing functional specifications, testing proposed solutions and documenting the resolution. The Senior Functional Analyst may also perform minor enhancement work and will serve in an advisory capacity with customers to review solutions as well as identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in the existing environment and future developments. Typically, the Senior Functional Analyst works as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant in the development of technical or business solutions within their AMO practice area. Under limited supervision, the Senior Analyst works on projects of average difficulty, usually involving single products or single platforms. The Senior Analyst is responsible for analyzing customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing infrastructure and applies principles, concepts and techniques of skills in developing solutions and strategies. Interpersonal skills are a key component of the position as it interacts with company and client managers and identifies additional solutions in client organization on a daily basis. Performance is typically measured by completion of deliverables and/or achieving Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets. • Qualified candidates must have at least 10+ years MM/WM SAP experience • Broad base MM/WM Configuration Experience including implementations and production support • Experience and deep knowledge in core MM/WM areas such as MRP, inventory management, procurement, storage locations, bin management, transport orders, master data, cycle counting • Strong understanding of all aspects of the SAP implementation lifecycle and a solid grasp of the ASAP & Run SAP Methodologies. • Must have a good grasp of project and program management methods and tools. • Have participated in multiple (at least four to six) successful SAP implementations (full life cycle). • Strong core consulting skills – communication (written & oral), organization and planning, client facing and interpersonal. • A minimum of 3 full life cycle SAP implementations as the lead MM/WM expert. • Experienced in scoping, requirements gathering/definition, configuration, testing, cutover and support. • Designed and developed functional specifications for MM/WM implementations and integrations. • Well-developed system problem solving skills having solved complex business problems within or across functional areas in SAP. • Experienced in a leveraged resource environment including offshore/on-shore staffing models • Experienced with the management of customer demands, progress reporting and status utilizing a service desk ticketing system such as Remedy Desired Skills: • Direct business experience/knowledge in Materials Management/Warehouse Management • Aeronautics / Aerospace / Defense experience • Manufacturing Systems experience • Some leadership experience in a Big 5 organization is desirable • Knowledge of ITIL concepts and practices Minimum Educational Requirements: • Bachelors Degree preferred. • Preference would be SAP Certified, but not required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
