Major Duties and Responsibilities Productize features in an OpenWRT + OpenSync platform using C Work closely with the team to develop features as specified in the product backlog Assist in modification, enhancement, and implementation of firmware to support new or existing business initiatives Test software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements Troubleshoot and diagnose issues; evaluate and implement the best resolution Integrate vendor board support packages and software development kits with our firmware and build system Actively and independently acquire knowledge of key technical areas as applicable to the platform, such as OpenWRT, OpenSync, IPv6, etc. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience Programming experience in C / C++ Scripting skills in either python, groovy, busyBox (ash and tools), etc. Debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills Basic understanding of software development best practices Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Strong knowledge & hands-on experience in networking (Multicast, DHCP, IPV4, IPV6…) Bonus Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) Linux kernel development experience Familiarity with embedded open source software (uci, ubus, etc.) Familiarity with OpenSync CPE framework or OpenWRT Understanding of modern transport / messaging protocols Experience in WiFi – Wireless networking (AP, Hotspot, Single SSID, Band / Channel, etc.) is plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
