Job Description Developer: Developer/Programmer- Junior, C# ASP.NET, Microsoft T-SQL, Object Oriented Programming Relational D

Description:

The following document contains the samples tasks and qualifications for this MNSITE Event.
Sample Tasks
• Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in C#/ASP.NET and T-SQL in accordance with project coding standards and the direction of the Enterprise Architect and Development Lead
• Access and assess legacy code in older languages and recreate the functionality in .NET
• Write and execute automatable unit testing code and scripts on all developed business code to consistently ensure operability of functionality at the time of each formal build
• Conduct string testing periodically to ensure business code produces the required results
• Perform debugging as necessary
• Perform upgrades as needed to ensure software and system security and efficiency
• Create and document stored procedures and views
• Annotate code development for effective knowledge transfer
• Respectfully and effectively collaborate with other project team members
Minimum Qualifications
• Two (2) years experience in Developer/Programmer role
• Two (2) years experience as a developer using each of the following:
o C# on ASP.NET
o Microsoft T-SQL
• Two (2) years experience in:
o object-oriented programming best practices
o Relational database concepts
• 1 engagement involving development on an N-Tier solution
Desired Skills
• Development experience with Ingres technologies
• Experience with Workflow frameworks
• Experience developing micro-services
• Ability to transform code into C#/ASP.NET and T-SQL from other languages such as:
o Ingres ABF
o Ingres RW
o Ingres SC
o an older dialect of Visual Basic
o DOS .BAT
o Perl
o Cold Fusion
• Experience with each of the following types of tools
o version control
o build management
o requirements management
o bug and issue tracking
• Demonstrable ability to discover and fix errors in code
• An analytical mindset and critical thinking
• Ability to work independently and in agile/iterative teams
