Description :
Lead Cisco Consultant | UC/Voice Engineer
Multi-Year Consulting Engagement | Lower Manhattan, NY


Design, Implementation and troubleshooting of enterprise level Cisco UC products including:

· UCM (CallManager)

· Unity Connection

· IM&P

· UCCX (including scripting)

· CER

· Voice Gateways (CUBE)

· Calabrio / AQM Call Recording

· MRA & Expressway, B2B Video

· Route/Switch configuration – basic knowledge.



Areas of Responsibility & Daily Tasks:

This resource must be able to oversee or execute the following tasks related to the Contact Center and overall project:

Receive, Triage, and Re-mediate Escalations
Troubleshooting complex UC complications
Provide and preserve Systems Maintenance
Execution of Patching and Upgrades as needed
Complex Call Flow and Contact Center Design
Compatibility & Firewall changes and upgrades for security integration
Complex documentation of call flows, visio diagrams.
Must be able to evaluate, assess, vet, and execute patching and upgrades to VMware, Cisco UC applications, Cisco router/gateways, and Cisco Endpoint firmware.
Maintain system utilization and adjusting for optimization
Implement major dial plan modifications
Review and approval all change requests
Provide Business use case Analysis
Implementation and design of new features within contact center and overall environment.
Work with stalk holders and 3rd party application providers for implementation support and guidance.
Expertise in provisioning and troubleshooting core Cisco UC skills including CUCM, UCXN, Basic L2 and L3 Networking, Gateways.
Assist with end user support documentation and communication, such as end user guides.
Participate in weekly status calls
In this position you will be required to be onsite for the full time engagement
Typical Preferred Certifications/Focus:
CCIE – Collaboration, CCNA, CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, CCNP Collaboration
