Fiddlers Green Circle Greenwood Village, CO 80111 Network Fundamentals: CCNA-Level Minimal / CCNP-Level Recommended (Certification not required but able to demonstrate equal understanding and ability to execute) Network Skillsets: Experience with implement, managing, and upgrading a large NetScout platform (SPAN/TAP, Packet Broker, Infinistream, nGeniusOne, and higher level applications relevant to analysis, root cause problem identification, call flow trace (ladder diagram), etc. Wireless Skillsets: Background in 4G LTE Wireless (3GPP) and / or Wi-Fi (non-3GPP). Ability to analyze packet capture to determine root cause of failure. System Fundamentals: Basic experience installing vendor software, performing upgrades, and ensuring content has a daily backup of critical information required for platform restoration. Day to Day: This position will be placed within the Charter Wireless Technology Group program focused in an engineering / lab role Monday through Friday 8 AM – 5 PM MT. The location of this posting will be in Greenwood Village (Denver Tech Center). The focus of this role is to serve as platform owner of the NetScout infrastructure to support Wireless (3GPP) and Wi-Fi (non-3GPP) in a lab based pre-production environment. This role will work with many engineering stakeholders to ensure the NetScout platform is properly capturing packet flows, storing the required information, and providing the team to have a real-time and historic tool to provide call flow information in regards to their platform. Network knowledge will be required as this will own various packet broker solutions (NetScout PFS, Gigamon, etc). This position will own all of the NetScout elements in the Wireless Technology lab environment and will be responsible to implement new packet brokers, manage the Infinistream devices, and make all required software upgrades to obtain desired functionality defined by Wireless / Wi-Fi stakeholders this position will work closely with. This position will also be leveraged to maximize value of the NetScout platform by testing new concepts and ideas of the vendor which can enhance the production customer experience. Documentation creation will also be part of this position in order to explain how the NetScout platforms functions, how to implement all of its functions, and to document what the lab NetScout topology is over time as the platform expands and is modified to meet business needs. This position will work closely with all aspects of the Charter Wireless Technology organization, Wireless Product business partners, and Wireless Network Operations with a vested OSS interest.
