Responsible for supporting all Cisco Wireless network infrastructure including but not limited to switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, and Wireless Access Points etc. Responsible for proactive network grooming, life cycle management, IOS upgrades, bandwidth capacity management, and high priority incident, change and problem management. Manages highly visible/risky changes and ensures network infrastructure is running efficiently. Acts as Network Operations liaison to peers in Engineering, Architecture, Information Security, Application Support, and Application Development. Responsible for life cycle management of network production devices, including but not limited to, IOS upgrades, capacity reporting, etc. Represents Network Operations on the Architecture Review Committee meetings. Works closely with Network Engineering, Network Architecture and Information Security to stay abreast of upcoming network related initiatives, as well as, notifies these groups of re-occurring issues within the network realm. Ensure the availability, performance, and operational integrity of Network Operations domain. Escalation point for the data center for high priority incident management, change management and problem management. Ensures PCI compliance of production network infrastructure. Encourage and enforce compliance to IT Service Management process and procedures. Skillset Details CCNP required, CCIE preferred Technical Skills: 8+ years of professional experience along with Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, load balancers, firewall. Focused discipline in design, engineering and deployment of Cisco Wireless networks. Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Wireless Access Points.
