The selected applicant is required to work onsite at ITD headquarters. Work is expected to be half time and performed primarily during normal work hours Monday through Friday although occasianion weekend work may be necessary. Schedule will be determined based on the requirements of the project although a schedule such as twenty (20) hours per week or every other week are expected alternatives and could evolve as required for project completion. Contractors are requested to indicate the candidates primary residence location to aid ITD in determining the applicability of a fully burdened rate, and its subsequent evaluation of the Contractors rate proposal. This position must be able to manage the Advantage ERP upgrade project using PMBok principles and oversee the creation of all project artifacts needed to manage the Advantage ERP upgrade project and ensure the upgrade runs smoothly, meets quality expectations, adheres to budget constraints and is delivered on time. The position will be resposible for managing all aspects of the upgrade project including but not limited to: hardware acquistion and installation, software installation and configuration, software testing, regression testing and validation, vendor management, coordination, project monitoring and status reporting. The position must be able to manage a large and diverse project team and act as liasison between the state and the software vendor (CGI) to meet project deliverables. The overall deliverable is that the Advantage ERP software is upgraded from release 3.9 to release 3.11 and properly working in production. The position will… -- Manage the day-to-day operations of the project including task and resource assignment -- Manage project scope, goals, work plans, timelines, implementation strategies, risk assessment, communication and change management activities -- Assess vendor contracts and serves as liaison between ITD, CGI and other vendors as required -- Validate all business requirements for the Advantage upgrade and facilities meetings and discussions to come to consensus -- Consult with ITD stakeholders to define project scope, budget, resources, and system requirements. -- Ensure hardware environment for the new Advantage release is installed, set up and configured by ITD resources and ready for software installation -- Ensure Advantage software is installed and initially configured on ITD servers by CGI and ITD resources and readied for testing by ITD personnel -- Ensure thorough testing by ITD is tracked and completed based on project timeline requirements -- Manage the activities to migrate system from development environment to the test environment and the necessary testing to warrant the migration -- Manage user acceptance testing and system acceptance testing activities and any regression testing as needed prior to system going live in production -- Create, track and manage artifacts needed to complete the upgrade and to develop the release plan and then manage the release plan and ensure the system is ready to go live in production -- Maintain project artifacts according to project management standards and methodology and in consulta   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
