Ensure that source code finding and remediation is integrated into the developer toolchains and processes. Assist development teams in integrating the tools into their toolchain and processes. Advise teams on defining their working agreements around tool usage and remediation of findings. Work closely with development teams to understand and address code analysis results. Assist development teams in acquiring necessary background knowledge to avoid writing vulnerabilities into their code. Hands on train teams on application security and remediation of application security code findings as well the use of source code analysis tools. Collaborate with teams and vendors to continue to enhance source code analysis tools and configuration, including helping with evaluation of new tool What they look for: Looking for a developer who wants to leverage their code writing and problem solving skills to aid internal Comcast development teams with securing their code Will take someone good at writing code and teach them security Someone from a Senior Dev background Will be living and breathing code, but coaching other developers on how to better secure their code The team has 2-3 in-house security apps that this person will be contributing to, but a lot of the job is assisting other intern clients (dev teams) Example: A dev team needs to update their processes for security scanning and vulnerabilities Need to help implement something in the CI/CD pipeline and evaluate how it does Once implemented you test it by running a scan and seeing if the vulnerabilities that come back are legitimate or not If not then you need to re-do everything They are an internal advisor and tool smith shop   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
