Ownership of a few projects – this will be for the team D&A (data analysis) – should be able to have strong understanding of AWS services and need to be able to work more independently and not need a lot of additional assistance Responsible for helping to design and create solutions – they work with the business to find needs and then create, design solutions Some they do themselves and sometimes hand-off – need to be able to ask the right questions and understand how the architecture can support and help to implement them as well Almost all their applications are in the cloud already – a few still migrating but heavily AWS focused Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like: Will be working about 80% doing more coding/AWS cloud work and then about 20% of the time will be spent doing requirements gathering and meeting with internal stakeholders (working with product owner on what they need and then helping build out a plan for) Will be pulling data and consuming from data lake (essentially consuming it as their “black-box”) – dont need to use any DL or ETL specific tools and building a support system for in AWS Need to be able to build out the architecture and support for various applications/projects – will be building the AWS infrastructure that the projects will stand upon Building out CI/CD pipelines – DevOps team has build out the main structure but may need to create new ones for additional deployments etc. using CloudFormation Selling Points for Candidates: What are the top must-have technologies/required experience for the position?
