As Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will: Design, build, and support enterprise systems and platforms encompassing a broad array of technologies. Build secure, scalable, and highly available solutions that adhere to enterprise policies and industry standards & best practices. Provide design guidance and support to business partners to enable optimal usage of the technology. Proactively measure all environments for adherence to enterprise standards and best practices and assist with remediation & optimization. Develop and maintain scripts, automated processes, and documentation for repeatable design patterns, to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time. Provide escalation support to operations personnel. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for technical design, implementation, and problem resolution. Train and mentor team members as well as operational staff. Qualifications 3+ years of experience designing, managing, and supporting enterprise Virtualization Platforms(VMware, KVM, Openstack), and server computing platforms. 2+ years of experience working with Containers, Kubernetes a plus. 2+ years of experience working with public cloud products and services; AWS preferred. Experience creating technical documentation and using tools including Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 2+ years working with CI/CD tools and methodologies, system programming and scripting in Python and Bash preferred; a scripting/automation mindset is a must. Experience with Configuration Management tools, including Ansible (preferred), Puppet, chef, salt, etc. a plus. Integration experience with enterprise operations and security tools such as Okta, Splunk, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Infoblox, and Imperva. Strong communication skills, written & verbal, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to work are a must, as is a comfort level working in a fast-paced, federated environment that embraces innovation and experimentation. BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject field or equivalent work experience. Dependable and flexible with work hours, including nights and weekends as required.
