Roles and Responsibilities Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio Extensive hands on experience in application support, performance testing and Akamai Experience in Cloud architecture AWS Certification Domain expertise in DevOps, Security systems administration, Software development and cloud technologies. Expert on application monitoring tool like Dynatrace, AppDynamics Expertise on Splunk query language and creating dashboard. Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans Weekly Release Reporting Expert in Build and Release Dev Ops Engineering in building, deploying, and releasing of complex enterprise applications Experience in working as Dev Ops engineer/Build & Release engineer for release automation of enterprise applications to achieve continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI and CD) Developed Shell scripts for automation of the build and release process. Experience in managing and maintaining various Version Control Tools SVN, GIT, Perforce, IBM Rational ClearCase, Bitbucket, Github. Experience in Change Management Processes and Procedures Experience in setting up Upstream and Downstream Jobs Jenkins and Hudson. Worked with Jenkins Pipelines Solid Experience in SCM tools Chef and Puppet for configuration management on multiple platforms. Experience in Atlassian Tool Stack (JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, Bamboo, Bitbucket). Experienced in DevOps tools such as Chef, Vagrant, Puppet, Ansible, Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, ANT, SVN, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift and EKS. Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors. Continually work towards making improvements in the release process Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
