The Dev Ops Configuration engineer will be part of scrum teams and will be responsible for designing and implementing the continuous integration platform The Dev Ops Configuration engineer must be a highly motivated, organized and detail oriented individual with excellent communication and documentation skills. He or she should understand the role of continuous integration within the software development life cycle and business-related project constraints, and effectively advocate for the best possible customer experience of product quality. Job Responsibilities Building the CI pipeline and fully automating the build/release/test/provision/deploy process on various platforms (AWS, Azure, Pivotal) Work collaboratively with multiple projects development and operational teams to ensure consistent approaches to program delivery Serve as the subject matter expert for CI/CD/CM tools Identify, analyze, coordinate, and resolve environment and internal infrastructure needs Architect and implement metrics required to increase transparency in the automated build, test, and deployment process Perform research and development into open source software solutions needed to support continuous improvement of the engineering process Update job knowledge by studying start-of-the-art DevOps tools, CI/CD/CM trends and best practices with an eye toward improving existing solutions Required Skills 5+ years of experience in the IT field with a mix of systems engineering and software development/scripting experience Hands on experience on installation/configuring of CI/CD solutions 3+ years of experience building and supporting solutions on Azure, AWS and Windows Be responsible for developing infrastructure-as-code, deployment and administration on Azure and AWS using release automation to continuously deliver software 2+ years of administering database clusters like: MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra or any other DBs but not necessarily as a DBA Broad portfolio of AWS services (CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CloudFormation, EC2, etc.) Broad portfolio of Azure services (Kudu, Web Deploy) Strong programming ability in at least one scripting or shell language, such as Python, or Perl & Bourne/Bash shell Proficiency with Infrastructure Provisioning with tools like Ansible and AWS CloudFormation templates Expertise in using CICD tools: Jenkins, UrbanCode UDeploy, Maven, Chef, Puppet, CloudBees Expertise in using source code repositories (VSTS, Git) Extensive systems implementation and administration experience for Linux and Windows Collaborate with development and QA teams on reproducing and resolving production issues Knowledge of Networking/TCP IP, routing and Load balancing Preferred Hands on experience on installation/configuring of Tableau/Redshift Proficiency with container technologies (Pivotal, Docker, Elastic Container Service) Proficiency in AWS IAM and SAML integrations with Active Directory   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
