TOP REQUIREMENTS: Azure, Terraform, and Jenkins (DevOps tools) Must be strong in all three. Technical Skills Experience using a public cloud provider. Understands cloud-native development. Has experience with automation tools (examples: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) Demonstrated skills building and deploying workloads in Kubernetes Ability to integrate components into CI/CD pipeline, specifically Jenkins Communication Skills Ability to work across and collaborate with multiple teams including platform teams and corporate security Customer interaction skills. Ability to listen intently to the needs of the customers Ability to influence customers to utilize modern cloud practices Ability to manage conflicts with customers and guide/influence them to adhere to our best practices. Ability to influence Ops and Security teams to support customers by collaborating to create new patterns Ability to prioritize workload and communicate effectively with product owner and technical product owner. Ability to write documentation that is clear and concise to share knowledge with customers. Prior teaching engagements are a plus, but not required. Soft Skills Ability to influence internal platform and support teams to create cloud native solutions easing the transition of customers to cloud Ability to prioritize and manage workload that is often dynamic and changing. Self-Starter who is continuously seeking new solutions to build secure, efficient, and robust (HA/FT) in cloud. Continuous learner with willingness to share knowledge with team and customers. Ability to create technical course content for Optum DevOps teams. Proficient in using Agile/Kanban methodology to track and complete work. Create User Stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria. Day to Day Functions Participate in customer engagements to understand their challenges and recommend best practices. Coach and advise customers on best practices for building in Azure, GCP, and on-premise cloud solutions. Research, investigate, and test new capabilities to help solve customer problems in cloud. Collaborate and share knowledge and information across the Vanguard team. Create re-usable, repeatable patterns for customer building in Health Care CLoud.
