Associate Degree in IT related field of study or equivalent. 2. Must have the ability to perform development and enhancements for a large complex computer system. Ability to maintain existing code and develop new code, with strong attention to detail accuracy. 3. Must have seven (7) or more years development experience with COBOL II/COBOL 390 accessing DB2 databases in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment. Software development experience must be currentwithin the last year. 4. Must have seven (7) or more years experience with relational databases, including logical design, understanding of physical design components, and complex SQL accessing a large, complex application database. 5. Must have seven (7) or more years of mainframe and complex CICS applications development experience. 6. Must have working knowledge of the following development / testing utilities: TSO, Abend-AID, File-AID, QMF, Xpediter, IDCAMS, Syncsort, Network Data Mover (NDM), Secure File Transfer protocol (SFTP). 7. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to gather and provide information effectively, regardless of audience. 8. Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaborative skills. Must be service oriented with strong interpersonal skills with all levels of business and technical staff. 9. Demonstrated analytical skills that include working directly with business staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements. 10. Must be able to create and maintain supporting technical documentation. 11. Must be competent in overall PC skills including the use of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Access, etc.) 12. Must have experience with leading and directing medium to large software development projects, under general direction. 13. Strong organization, planning, problem solving, and decision making skills. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks. 14. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Must be able to learn quickly and apply new technology. Preferred: 1. Bachelors degree in IT related field of study. 2. Preferred experience with health care claims processing operations and systems, including experience with health care claims coding and adjudication. Experience with a Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) is a plus. 3. Knowledge of MMIS processes: e.g., eligibility, managed care, medical provider management and enrollment, etc. Knowledge of CMS changes to rules, e.g., SSNRI, ACA, etc. 4. Experience with CA Clarity Project or MS Project Management Tools. 5. Experience working as part of a large (40+) software development team using structured procedures and guidelines. 6. Working knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft SharePoint. 7.
