Job Description : Cyber Operations Cloud Architect Overview: Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions is a new group focused on the implementation and integration of operational security technology, processes and controls to protect applications, infrastructure and information. We are looking for talented associates with a commitment to continuous improvement and who are excited to contribute to the Cybersecurity program at Securian. The Cloud Cyber Operations Architect role will represent the Cyber Operations requirements for our cloud infrastructure strategy that support Securians Cloud First Mindset. The Cloud Cyber Operations Architect will be responsible for collaborative design and development of appropriate cyber operations controls for various cloud architectures. These include those controls necessary for Incident detection and response, Vulnerability management, SIEM and Threat identification and analysis. This applies to systems and data deployed into cloud and cloud/hybrid environments. Cloud environments can include both public and private IaaS deployments such as AWS & Azure, as well as third party SaaS solutions like Workday, Salesforce, and Office365. Our Cloud Cyber Operations Architect will be involved in the implementation and configuration of operational controls in both foundational infrastructure and application platforms to make sure cyber operations requirements are met and built in from the start. What you would do in this job: Produce and maintain Architecture Specifications, System Requirements, Roadmaps, Reference Architectures, Enterprise Deployment Patterns and White Papers to accurately capture and communicate operational security requirements for IaaS and PaaS. Build cloud optimized architecture patterns and contribute to Enterprise Architecture governance. Map operational security controls to compliance requirements for cloud environments Participate in technical risk assessments & work with Enterprise Technology to address outstanding issues Audit existing implementations to ensure operational security standards have been met Recommend changes, when appropriate, to security policies and control standards and operational practices Drive proof of concept efforts that assess feasibility of solutions and demonstrate how security technology can be leveraged. What we would expect from you: Minimum of 3 years experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure Services Architecture or Security Minimum of 3 years of cyber operations experience in Incident detection and response, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence and/or SIEM. Knowledge of cloud security and governance requirements/frameworks (e.g. Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) standard methodologies) Knowledge of Enterprise IT security risk assessments and related frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000 series, NIST 800 Series, COBIT, IT General Controls, etc.) Minimum 1 year of Conceptual knowledge of the following regulations: PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, GLBA, FISMA 5 or more years of progressive knowledge and growth in information technology or information security.
