Open to sitting in Dallas, TX or Sunnyvale, CA Contract Length: 18 months - could extend further Job Description: As a Lead Software Engineer, you would be involved with the development of highly scalable applications, components and services that meet availability, response times & throughput demands. You would work across the samsclub.com engineering area to deliver best in class solution to complex business problems Your responsibilities include: Responsible for the design and implementation of samsclub.com web application system components in a global e-Commerce platform built with Java EE and Oracle environment. Actively involved with requirement understanding and analysis and lead the design and build of relevant solutions. Define and design Java J2EE applications, defines and implement corresponding data models. Write batch processing jobs as necessary. Document work efforts, debug Java code, respond quickly to business critical requests. Assists in providing guidance to other development engineers, including offshore associates, for resolving business request pertaining to engineering solutions by providing directions, documents, examples, and timelines. Additional Preferred Qualifications 4- 10 years of IT experience of which at least 5 years in ATG e-Commerce Platform (nucleus component framework, droplets, form handlers, repository framework, JSTL, DSP/DSPEL tag libraries with focus on CA and CSC frameworks) Excellent knowledge of OOTB (out of the box) features available in ATG e-Commerce Platform Deep understanding of ATG Dynamo Application Framework and experience of one full lifecycle implementations for large scale e-Commerce web Applications Hands on experience in customizing ATG solution stack focused on CA and CSC. Excellent programming skills using Java/J2EE, XML/ JSON, XSL, JMS, RESTful web services A good mastery of Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving Hands on experience with GIT, Splunk and Sonar.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
