Tasks: • Development and coding of new website look and feel, including multiple templates as needed, e.g.: o Main landing page o Department/Organization pages o Education program pages o Directory (incl. faculty bio template) o Clinics pages • Development/assistance developing new site structure for simplified navigation through the site. • Website must maintain a visual connection with UNC and be developed within overarching University design guidelines. • Platform should be Windows (IIS) based. • Implementation of a content management system (CMS) – CMS must be approved by Client personnel. CMS must be compatible with IIS and other requirements listed below. • Development of an intranet. • Design should not require horizontal scrolling at a 1024x768 screen resolution. • Website should be capable of interactive behaviors through the use of modern javascript frameworks (e.g., jQuery) and standards such as HTML5/CSS. • Website should be compatible across all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and IE) with the exception of IE6, as well as with mobile devices (e.g., smart phones, iPad). • Site must be search-engine friendly. • Site must have visitor tracking and analytic capability. • During design process, selected agency must provide Client with no less than three design drafts. • At completion of project, delivery of CSS files, layered Photoshop files, associated fonts, etc. to Client Required Skills: * Experience working with higher education, preferably as professional school and/or with client * Demonstrated success in website redesign. * Ability to execute the project with agreed upon budget without overruns.
