Support needed from development of RFP through the processing of vendor responses and selection and. Project Management will be responsible for working with an internal Business Analyst to monitor the progress of the project against agreed upon contract requirements and deadlines. Will extend into the implementation phase of the project. * Please note that the vendor to whom this PSO is awarded cannot bid on the RFP. **The Division reserves the right to cancel this PSO for any reason, either during the processes or at any time thereafter based on change in requirements, budget or performance. ***Successful vendor will have equipment provided by the state and have state network access. Agency Expected Deliverables: This is an expert-level project manager position. This is a high-profile project involving creating a single licensure program for several formerly independent boards with separate legacy systems into one system that serves many needs. This system will also have to integrate with other programs such as the states financial accounting system. This position will be responsible for writing and working with DOPL and the Division of Purchasing in issuing an RFP, assisting the evaluation committee, creating the project plan and schedule, organizing project teams, scheduling of project team meetings, organizing vendor responses, documenting the analysis of vendor responses, maintaining project momentum and controlling scope for a large, complex project. This position will also have the responsibility of developing measurements of processes/methods for assessing progress toward Division goals, contractual obligations and project outcomes. Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Experience with managing RFP process from the agency perspective (not the vendor perspective) and managing large scale, complex software implementations affecting multiple agencies and integrating with other state programs. Candidate should have experience with multiple implementations of an enterprise level SaaS or COTS solution. Previous state experience not limited to the state of Idaho should be identified. Project management certification preferred. Ability to periodically work onsite preferred. Agency requests references be supplied for at least one recent project that the candidate worked on that was similar in scope to the requirements in this PSO and/or provided for government entities within the last five years.
