Due Date: 5/29/2019 Primary Skill - (5+ Years Experience) Functional Testing-System Testing Job Description: Work with NYEIS program staff and business analyst to develop and execute test plans, including, developing test cases, for application upgrades, including application software releases, interface and DataMart changes, and new/upgraded COTS framework/tools. Work with NYEIS technical writer and technology team to develop new/update existing and maintain all documents related to NYEIS. Work closely with Project Manager and ITS Manager on active/pending projects, Test Level 3 Help Desk tickets as needed Administrative Tasks: Attend and participate in meetings, prepare a weekly report, complete NYS LATS timecard daily Mandatory Qualifications: Expert-level: 84+ months experience in developing and maintaining user and technical documentation and process documentation for application / technology teams. Understand the users view of applications and /or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence; Candidate is able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 months Experience planning, designing, developing and executing test strategies. Additional nice to have qualifications: 84 months Experience creating test plans, test reports, and defect management using industry-standard tools to identify, document, communicate, prioritize, track and resolve problems. 84 Months Experience in Functional testing using functional testing tools. 72 months Experience with automated functional testing. Response must detail use of specific automation tools and any processes used to migrate test cases from manual testing to automation. 72 Months Experience as a Test / QA Lead working on large software development or upgrade project. Experience must detail team leadership implementing testing frameworks using Test/QA best practices. 60 Months Experience working in a team environment.
