Function: Governance & Compliance Management This is a long term contract opportunity Candidates can work in Reston, VA, Philly, PA or Moorestown NJ Summary: Key contributor to the Compliance function of Information & Infrastructure Security. Responsible for performing various technology compliance activities to manage information and technology risk based on a variety of assessments that generate findings against policies, standards and controls. Executes the periodic reporting of compliance levels against key regulatory requirements and internal policies e.g. CPNI, SOX, PCI, etc. Maintains the control catalog to efficiently measure compliance posture through mapping of regulatory requirements, policies and standards to a common set of control objectives. Works with a team of resources who provide advisory services and assistance to business or corporate groups working on major compliance initiatives such as SOX and PCI. Coordinates the compliance lifecycle using automation workflow and effective scheduling to match enterprise timelines. Participates in various cross-functional initiatives within National Governance Risk & Compliance organization. Core Responsibilities: Understands the IT strategy for implementing controls to meet regulatory compliance requirements and executes as per defined plans Serves as a key contributor to assist company-wide efforts designed to achieve compliance objectives Works with business IT teams, Internal Audit, Legal, Infrastructure and Security leaders to understand and drive implementation of appropriate controls Implements the compliance schedule for major initiatives such as SOX and PCI in tandem with company-wide efforts; staggers work plan to balance out resource impact Keeps abreast of upcoming regulations or statutory requirements, analyzes impact, and makes recommendations for the compliance program Implements the reporting framework and metrics program to measure compliance levels against key regulatory requirements and internal policies Assists with the implementation of process improvements related to the identification and remediation of technology compliance findings Maintains the control catalog with mapping of external regulatory requirements and internal policies to common set of control objectives so as to enable compliance measurement Assists with the development of comprehensive new technology policies or required updates involving information security, regulatory compliance and business continuity/disaster recovery Supports the policy review process to ensure all groups adequately review new policies or policy changes and gain approval for policies that impact the enterprise Tracks policy violations using the defined exception management process and performs other technology compliance duties as assigned Sustains subject matter expertise with regulatory requirements such as CPNI, HIPAA, SOx, PCI, etc. as well as control frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, ISO 27001, etc. Education Level: Bachelors Degree minimum. Certifications: CISA preferred. Years of Experience: Generally requires 5+ years of experience or a combination of work experience and advanced degree.
