Provide project management leadership for one or more multi-disciplined project teams comprised of technical and subject matter experts, engineers and project managers working in different phases of CRM projects. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: project team members, department heads and managers within OIT and other academic and business offices across campus; contractors and consultants. This position typically will advise and counsel: OIT management, user department heads. Duties may include but are not limited to: Strong understanding of CRM capabilities and limitations and can clearly communicate those to C Suite level audiences as well as technical teams. Lead project teams on-site through clear requirement development strategy, planning, assigning and overseeing diverse activities; define project goals, objectives, scope and estimates of schedules, resources and costs involving multiple projects being conducted simultaneously through timely completion. Direct project execution through continual coordination of planning, tasking, performance reporting, change control and issue management. Confer with functional users within an assigned business or service area to develop plans to address business needs; develop and implement change management strategies. Initiate communications among project teams, customers and appropriate levels of management. Deliver project status reports and presentations to C Suite level audiences as well as technical teams. Lead discovery workshops, which includes the facilitation of large audiences, solution presentations, and prototype demonstrations. Effectively coordinate with onsite, contract, and remote technical and functional team members. Develop and manage project budgets. Lead product evaluation, selection, and procurement efforts for related solutions and services. Manage acquisition of project related goods and contract services. Provide mentoring, training and career guidance for team members. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills: Degrees required for this job: Bachelors degree Degrees preferred: Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science or Information systems, or related field. Years of experience required for this job: Four or more years job related experience.
