PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with C#, JSON, Web API, RESTful, and SOAP Web Service implementations. Responsive Web Design, Telerik UI for ASP.Net MVC. Experience in NUnit. Knowledge and Abilities: KNOWLEDGE: · The entire software development lifecycle. · Application Servers and Web Frameworks such as IIS. · Proficient in ASP.NET, MVC, C# with solid understanding of their ecosystem. · Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). · Object Relational Mapping (ORM). · NUnit testing and unit testing used for test cases. · Version control or source code management (TFS or GIT). · Microsoft Visual Studio (MVS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). · Formats used in written business communications. · English grammar, spelling, and composition needed for correspondence. · Computer software necessary to carry out job responsibilities. · Types and uses of office equipment. · Office management principles, methods, and procedures. · Established policies, procedures, practices of the Nebraska Department of Education. ABILITIES: · Program on Microsoft .NET frameworks using C#.NET, LINQ, Visual Studio 2008/2013/2017, AJAX. · Develop ASP.NET MVC applications with C# code behind for authentication, registration, documents upload and approval system. · Use HTML and CSS, client-side scripting experience with JavaScript frameworks (JQuery). · Client and server side validations using JavaScript and Validation Controls and performing tasks related to Database issues. · RDBMS and write SQL queries and stored procedures. · Communicate orally and in writing with agency staff and the public. · Establish and maintain effective working relationships. · Understand, interpret, and apply rules, administrative policies, and program guidelines. · Design, development and deployment of interfaces for load testing and in production environment.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
