The HTML/CSS Developer will work with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and product managers to improve and maintain websites. The HTML5/CSS3 Developer will also collaborate with core UI team members to develop repeatable design patterns, establish development standards, and help maintain a component library. Day to day responsibilities: · Understand business objectives, as well as customer needs, in order to articulate how design can address them · Work closely with cross-functional feature teams to deliver features in support of business objectives · Extend and improve the UI design language, development standards and component libraries · Collaborate with front-end engineers to implement UI components within platform constraints · Actively participate in design critiques, code reviews and team retrospectives · Help improve team culture · Be curious, engaged, approachable and self-reliant · Stay current with a rapidly changing industry; share knowledge with others Requirements: · Mastery of HTML/CSS · Experience working in product and/or agile environments · Experience leading front end developers and designers to develop production ready UI solutions · Excellent and persuasive communication skills (verbal & written) · Works directly with engineering and portfolio design leads to execute work · Coordinates the work of others while involved with multiple work streams · Analyze and translate business requirements and user needs into production ready UI · Strategic application of experience · Superior analytical and development skills to reconcile conflicting objectives and find/design acceptable compromises within existing constraints · HTML, CSS, VS Code (or equivalent), git (or equivalent), JavaScript (working knowledge) · Effective oral and written communication skills along with logical, analytical and abstract thinking skills · Provides clear and concise communication with project team and mid-level management · Participate in code reviews · Collaborate with front end engineers and product designers to implement production ready HTML/CSS · Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels · Ability to communicate with all members of project team to solve problems and design solutions · Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals · Ability to work in teams · Create and communicate design solutions using HTML/CSS · Work within visual design language, pattern library & usage guidelines · Actively participate in code reviews, stakeholder reviews & company-wide demos · Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver features · Create UI components that improve our software · Maintain & extend design component library · Understand business requirements and objectives and help explain/clarify them for others · Lead code reviews, agile ceremonies, stakeholder reviews & company-wide demos · Meet regular   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
