This is a 6+ month contract position Position: Technical Lead Location: Waltham, MA Duration: 6+ month contract Position Description: Our client is a large Utilities Company located in Waltham, MA that is looking for a Technical Lead to fill a 6+ month (rolling) contract position. Job Purpose: The Technical Lead has a critical role in the success of the pilot / testing phases of our clients program targeted at helping people in need in our communities with a new technology offering. This role will provide support as our clients technology expert to consult on requirements, assess feasibility and build / test the prototype. The scope is across the US (NY, MA, RI) and the UK and may require travel in those regions but will be based out of our Boston area office (Waltham MA). The role is accountable to define, guide and deliver the technical development on the testing phases of the program and deliver a prototype that will be used in a live pilot test in Summer 2019. This role is an exciting opportunity for a candidate that is a specialist in the technical field in getting large initiatives off the ground as well as passionate about social causes. Key Accountabilities: Technical Build and Support for Testing Phase • Lead process to learn from initial testing phases and light technology used to do a first pilot of the solution to recommend approach to next phase(s) of pilot work, working collaboratively across the entire project team and with internal client experts • Lead the design of the next phase of testing to run a formal pilot in the US and UK including enhancement on top of current test technology • Define business requirements for technology solution and prioritize for the pilot technology minimum viable product (MVP) • Design and develop the pilot MVP and review iterations of proposals with project team, working collaboratively with the customer journey development efforts of the team • Developed protocol for and run testing phase to ensure technology is ready to be released • Support the development and delivery of training documents • Deliver on expected deadlines, dependencies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for overall program success ? Input Learnings / Expertise to Formal Technology Partner Selection Process Required Skills: Proven ability to manage programmatic and administrative requirements of a wider strategy on a technical level Administer and maintain user accounts, site content, and workflows in CRM-like bespoke platform Conduct system monitoring to ensure uptime and appropriate content/data Working in an agile fashion, can understand and make changes to a quickly evolving platform through CMS or standard web coding tools and languages Proficiency in using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery Comfort troubleshooting and testing through debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector Ability to understand CSS changes and ramifications Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs PHP development understanding Excellent communication skills, written and verbal to a wide variety of stakeholders internal and external to our client Strong EQ and relational skills, including patience, compassion and understanding Ability to work independently with commitment to team Ability to manage KPIs and manage improvement plans   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
