(Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) * Work in scrum team to understand the user stories and create test cases and execute part of the user story * Create automated test scripts utilizing Cucumber/Gherkins language to create feature file * ATDD - Acceptance Test Driven development, understand the user stories and acceptance criteria to create the test case scripts * Defect management by creating defect, troubleshooting with developers and analyst, re-testing and closure of the defects * Prepare regression script/bed after every sprint and run the same during every sprint * Perform functional, system and regression testing * API (SOAP and REST) testing via SoapUI, NEO Load tool or any other similar tool * Cross program coordination for test only project to support data identification, creating sample data/file, execute test cases * Project release/cross program testing status/update * Batch file testing, create file with sample data, run the batch, move files via ftp, validate the results and pass/fail the test case with defect creation as appropriate * Work in Agile Scrum team to help groom user stories, create tasks, estimate and provide story points What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? * SQL, Unix, FTP * Any functional testing automation e.g. selenium, quality center etc * SOAP UI, Cucumber, IntelliJ, RabbitMQ, What skills/attributes are a must have? * 5+ years of functional and integration testing of web based application having APIs * 5+ years of functional, integration and system testing of APIs directly * 3+ years end to end testing involving multiple enterprise systems * 2+ years Cucumber with ATTD What skills/attributes are nice to have? * Jenkins pipeline * Java, Unix Shell Script * Health care Claims domain knowledge * Experience working on Messaging Queue systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka etc)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
