Job Description :

Full Stack Developer

Work Location: Saint Louis, MO


Summary

This position entails new portal development leveraging Vue.js framework. People with Angular.js could easily pick this up. The developer will also leverage Vuetify.js.



This is a full stack development and extensive work with Springboot and Java 8 plus. The client has a team that will do all the API and backend portals, but they need people that can work middle tier, API, and UI. Microservices are created around SpringBoot leveraging Spring 5 for real time dashboards.


New platforms will be leveraging an open source solution known as RocketChat – built on Meteor technology. The team will be deploying chat bots using RocketChat and moving to mobile Native. Android is the biggest need.


They do need people who understand CI/CD as they need to deploy in a DevOps-ish model.


Required Skills

· Node.js or Spring Boot

· Angular or Vue.js

· Java 8 plus

· Experience with real-time implementations.



Responsibilities

· Design overall architecture of the web application

· Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.

· Development experience for both mobile and desktop. (Responsive design)

· Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.

· Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git

· 6 to 8 years of experience of full stack development experience

· Should have Node JS, HTML, CSS & Java Script experience for last 4+ years

· Should be strong in Core Java - (full stack developer) with strong backend querying through Mongo/Oracle/SQL.

· Must be able to technically and functionally adapt to the upstream/downstream flows - and will be the Lead guiding the respective sprint team.

· Should drive/deliberate actively during sprint planning meets to access/estimate scope of work getting defined.

· Experience with REST Web Services and Microservices architecture

· 2 years of development experience with REST services using Springboot or NodeJS/ExpressJS

· Experience with Docker/Kubernetes in production

· Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins

· Must be collaborative, adaptable, and have good communication skills.

· Prior experience working on Agile teams is a must
