The candidate should be well versed with LAN and should be able to support at least 2 of the following Cisco Products and Technologies: Expertise in Cisco Data Center Solutions and Networking with knowledge and in-depth understanding of Server networking and Virtualization, Nexus 7000, Nexus 5000, Cat6500, Catalyst Blade switches, Cat4900, Cat3500, Cat4000, Cat6500, Cisco 7600, Virtual Switching system, understanding of 3rd party OS and Vmware applications Required skills: -- 4-6 years supporting Service Provider/Enterprise/Commercial- Cisco Products and Technologies -- Strong Troubleshooting and debugging capabilities for Cisco Products and technologies including at least 2 of the above mentioned products and technologies. -- Ability to determine problems and deliver solutions, consult with peers to identify and troubleshoot customers problems and provide solutions in simple and easy to understand format for customers consumption -- Ability to analyze, use and configure small, medium and large networks. -- Should be very strong in communicating effectively verbally and in writing -- Strong Business and Analytical Skills -- Ability to work independently and cross functionally, -- Ability to work effectively, independently and provide guidance to other members of the work group. -- Receives minimal supervision.
