Responsibility for installation, configuration and administration of Cisco network routers, switches and wireless access points. 2. Specialization in Local Area Networks (LANs)/Wide Area Networks (WANs), TCP/IP and network infrastructure. 3. Troubleshoot City of Raleigh fiber circuits to resolve issues such as but not limited to Low signal levels, loss of signal, High BER, Packet Loss and Latency. 4. Troubleshoot City of Raleigh fiber circuits using OTDR and Optical power meters. 5. Test and validate new circuits, hardware, and connections for proper configuration and performance. 6. Conduct customer site surveys and maintain updated documentation of the fiber infrastructure.
