Coordination of network changes with application development areas and end users is required. Strong communication skills are required. Work with partners on network connectivity issues. Knowledge of the state BCN and billing methodologies is a plus. Monitor network for performance issues. Coordinate resolution of such issues and work to tune the network for optimum performance. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Coordinate and troubleshoot the delivery of wireless, network access control, WAN optimization, Voice over IP and firewall issue resolution. The candidate would be expected to utilize industry standard best practices and methodologies and provide knowledge transfer to other staff through both direct communication and formal documentation. Rotating 24x7 on-call is required. In-person interview required.
