Candidate should have the following technical experience (5-10 years): Extensive experience Data Center security – 5-8 years The candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in large enterprise, service provider, or data center environments supporting large firewall installations. The candidate should have at least 5–10 years of experience working with Cisco Networks firewalls, including design, installation, configuration, and support of these devices. They will have extensive experience with design, installation, configuration, and support of multi-tenant firewall configurations (firewall virtualization). They will have extensive experience with design, installation, configuration, and support of high availability firewall topologies (active/active and/or active/standby clusters). They will have extensive experience with design, installation, configuration, and support of redundant applications over multiple data centers, including disaster recovery sites. The candidate will have extensive experience implementing routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) on firewalls and routers. They will have experience with design and implementation of URL filtering on next-generation firewalls. The candidate will have experience in knowledge transfer of technical information to other technical staff. Contractor will be required to have the ability to perform the transfer of technical information to other technical staff. Candidate will be required to successfully pass a federal criminal background check. Contracting firm will be required to perform a criminal background check prior to an official award of the contracting position.
