Oversees the purchase, installation, and support of network communications including LAN/WAN systems, T1, SIP, and VOIP systems. Monitors data/voice traffic and controls network/voice resource performance to ensure high quality transmission and call quality. Investigates and resolves security incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security. Applies comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities. Investigates and resolves vendor incidents through maintenance contracts. Possesses knowledge of telecom technologies, hardware, software and telephony connectivity. Fixes all telecom issues at all clients sites. Runs reports on telecom health. Investigates and resolves vendor incidents through maintenance contracts. Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations, or business support staff Administers and executes policies and procedures Ensures employees operate within guidelines Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levels Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred Minimum 6 years experience required, 3+ years preferred in supporting enterprise applications Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, etc.) are considered valued for this role Route/Switch experience Familiar with Cisco Hardware Competent in Command Line Configurations Wireless Networking experience 802.11 Wireless Handheld Device experience Extensive network infrastructure background strongly preferred Strong IT Technical and process skills Strong oral communication and writing skills, including formal presentations Demonstrated innovative and strategic thinking required, as well as a track record of success implementing tactical solutions that result in measurable business benefits   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
