Description :

Healthcare Industry - Developer with Reference, Claims, Pharmacy subsystems experience.

This position requires significant real world experience in work focusing on reference systems. C batch development experience as well as experience in requirements elicitation and design at the high level and detailed levels are a must. The perfect candidate will understand and have experience with the relationships between the reference subsystem and impacted systems. Knowledge of diagnosis codes, modifiers, ICD-9, ICD-10, revenue codes, DRG coding, Fee schedules, HCPCS codes, authorization coding, EOB knowledge, drug coding and utilization methodologies, are all vital in this role. The reference subsystem maintains a critical consolidated source of reference information that is accessed by many other MMIS subsystems including Claims, Prior authorization, Drug rebate, Provider, Recipient, and Third Party Liability. The ability to contribute to comprehensive design efforts is essential. This position is client facing and therefore requirements excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as deep analytical skills.
