ClearCase Administrator
Long Term Contract

Required Skills
(Minimum Mandatory Capabilities)
1.Minimum of 1-3 years ClearCase administration experience
2.Proficient programming in scripting languages, specifically ANT and Perl.
3.Experience with other IBM Rational Suite of tools (esp. ReqPro, ClearCase and ClearQuest MultiSite.
4.Product Installation, release maintenance, creation of devices and server configuration
5.Performance tuning of Rational applications and capacity planning.
6.Proven ability to develop scripts to automate frequent administration tasks.
7.Account management
8.Experience working on UNIX and Windows platforms.
9.Ability to work in a team of people with diverse international cultural background
10.Excellent communication skills

Managed the transition between software changes, hardware changes and configuration changes.
Utilize ANT for build automation to compile the source code into production. Ensured the final release/install package of software, applications and system changes has met all quality control, user acceptance and business validation criteria.

Client is looking for an experienced Clearcase Administrator/Specialist contractor that will be expected to participate in all aspects of Clearcase administration. This individual should have strong analytical and communications skills and advanced knowledge in using the IBM Clearcase product line.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing input to web administrators and developers on application code delivery and automation
Responsible for working with the Clearcase team to implement improvements in their build script processes
Work in close coordination with developers to effect change control, setup UCM project streams and review and advise on new implementations
Interface with Project Leads and Developers to design and create new models and assist on deliveries
Interface with Security to enforce security practices
Follow process documentation and provide input for updates as needed
Participate in new system upgrades and implementations as needed
