Reports progress on problem resolution to management. o Active participant in requirements and design review meetings. o Develop comprehensive test plans from functional requirements and design specifications for medium to large scale projects. o Execute both manual and automated functional/regression and system test cases. o Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing. o Create test data for applications as needed. o Document test execution results in HP Quality Center In conjunction with Quality Analysts, responsible for analyzing use cases and test scenarios in order to make the appropriate determination whether the functionality is an ideal candidate for automation. o Assume other responsibilities as directed. Contract SPECIFICATIONS o Successful completion of a 4-year degree in a computer or engineering related field and 5 - 7 years of experience testing commercial software; or equivalent combination of education and experience. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills. o Thorough working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and SDLC. o Good working knowledge of MS applications (Excel, Word, Access). o Able to creatively solve complex problems. o Able to work independently as well as be a team player. o Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects. o Strong technical knowledge is mandatory. o Experience with defect tracking applications such as HP Quality Center is mandatory. o Working knowledge of XML and experience using XML testing tools such as soapUI is desired. o Strong understanding of DB2/SQL/Oracle database is desired. o Experience with functional/regression testing tools such as QuickTestPro is desired.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
