He/she will work with the existing operations, engineering and development teams to continue integration and ensure that the entire stack is deployed and monitored under a holistic model. This position will require the individual to interface directly with external teams to gather requirement and further integrate OpenStack and its ancillary components into the enterprise. He/she must have a wide breadth of skills across Infrastructure including server hardware architecture, Linux (RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu) and Windows (Server 2008, Server 2012) administration, virtualization (one or more of the following, VMWare, KVM, XEN), networking (Layer 2/3 protocols), and storage (Swift, SCSI, Fiber Channel). In addition, this person must have experience with the following load balancing and clustering platforms (F5, HA Proxy, Corosync, VRRP). Additionally, experience will also be required in some of the following languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, PowerCLI) for scripting. Finally, these skills are desired but not required, Patching (Satellite, Landscape, YUM), Monitoring (HP OVO, Nagios, Netcool), packaging (RPM, DEB). Basic Qualifications 10+ years of experience in operating systems analysis/ engineering. Minimum Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in operating systems analysis/engineering - 5+ years of knowledge of Unix scripting languages: Shell (Bash) or Python - 3+ year of working knowledge of one virtualization technology (VMWare, KVM, XEN) - Expertise with at least one of the following cloud suites: OpenStack, AWS, vCloud Director - Experience with monitoring systems, creating monitors, SNMP traps. - Strong Linux system administration including Linux networking stack and tools - Strong understanding of storage, networking, virtual networking, and OS provisioning - Strong strategy, design and engineering support, provisioning and troubleshooting skills - Strong experience interfacing with users and systems engineers in order to resolve escalated technical problems - Detailed knowledge of Implementation and maintenance of high availability (HA) and highly scalable systems - Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively with others inside and outside departmental boundaries, at remote locations, and/or outside the company Preferred Qualifications - Experience with deploying and integrating OpenStack - Nagios installation and configuration - Apache experience - Apache SSL implementation - Linux administration with Red Hat, Debian and Ubuntu - Windows administration for Server 2008, and Server 2012 - Active Directory object management - Strong knowledge of Virtualization and Virtual Networking - Experience with continuous deployment and integration processes   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
