The candidate will analyze present day processes and assist in crafting requirements to replicate transactions in a newly redesigned system. Develop data mapping between UNISYS mainframe and Oracle relational database to prepare for a large-scale, future data migration. Work with OP Modernization Professional and Project staff to contribute to design and create test plans for modules that will replace current Mainframe programs and their related processes. Continue maintenance of NYSTECs documentation on existing programs paying particular attention to changes in OP processes that might affect project implementation The consultant will be crucial to the implementation details that are necessary to replicate current day processes while moving forward towards goals of the modernization project. Rigorous and thorough testing of program modules is key to a successful implementation. Mandatory Qualifications: Systems Architect: Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. Expert:84+ months Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
