Issue resolution will often require software changes and testing. - Will work closely with others as a team member in design, development and testing of legislaive and operational changes to legacy system. Required Skills: - Minimum of 10 years experience developing/maintaining mainframe based tax management systems using COBOL including install/1 system management and programming tools. - Minimum of 10 years development experience with COBOL, EASYTRIEVE, MVS, JCL, CICS, SQL and DB2 in a mainframe environment. - Minimum of 5 years experience in technical and functional requirements documentation. - Experience with troubleshooting and debugging mainframe applications which typically would be gained through at least 5 years of experience in this area. - Extensive knowledge of techniques and methodologies relating to software quality assurance and testing through the full systems development lifecycle. - Ability to manage time, milestones, and be self directed. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to work well independently and with others.
