This contract position does not require prior development experience in the criminal justice, corrections or parole field. The emphasis is on experience and skill as a web java developer. With the expectation of some in-person, on site meetings and working sessions, restrictions on issued equipment and secure network access, the developer must be located within the State of Utah. Nonetheless, normal activities are remote work. Position and Role: This Contract Developer will work under contract in the Department of Technology Services Application Development Unit that directly serves the Utah Department of Corrections (UDC) and the Board of Pardons and Parole (BOPP).
