The candidate requires both traditional analysis as well as development skills. Programming and/or database experience is required. Experience in the analysis of data from Financial Institutions, such as banks and/or credit unions, is desired. Experience in financial print is desired. Candidate should have experience integrating multiple technologies into a single system. Critical “out of the box” thinking is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze source data and identify relationships (XML and Flat File sources). Import / Define source file and field layouts. Define and build integration and data transformation logic through tool components and scripting. Define and build output composition for financial print statements. Complete other duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: • Education: A Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or equivalent education in a related discipline is required. Related work can be substituted for educational requirements. • Job Related Experience: o A Minimum of five years of hands-on coding. o Experience in business/systems analysis o Experience in flat file analysis o GMC Printnet experience is highly desired, but not required ? Coding and analysis skills are much more important than specific tool experience • Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: o A strong knowledge of an OO and/or script language (such as jscript or vbscript) o Two years of experience defining integration logic and data transformation rules. o Financial Services Industry experience is desired with specific interest in Financial Print such as statements, letters, notices, etc. o Experience with Banking and/or Credit Union systems and/or extract data desired o Experience designing enterprise wide solutions o The ability to interact with external and internal clients for the purpose of data gathering and discovery o Strong organizational skills o Strong written, verbal and non-verbal skills Position is Contract to Hire Position is in then FISERV Glastonbury CT location   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
